Saying good-bye

Danny is hiding behind Joe.

Joe's office staff, Joe is their boss.

Danny loves

We got up at 5:30 am to get to the airport by 6:00am. When we got there Joe's flight had been canceled. So we went back home for 3 hours waiting for the next flight. We were glad to have the extra time together, but it made the good-bye process drag out. We were allowed to go to the gate and stayed there until his plain took off, the kids liked that. The kids know Joe will be gone for a long time, but they don't understand what 6 months feels like, actually I don't either. I'm just sad right now, but I know we will be O.K. We have a lot to look forward to and we are so blessed.

Wil and Natalie Birthday

They turned 5 today. We had a party with a few friends. They loved taking cup cakes to their Pre-k class. All 3 of the kids call them "pup cakes"

Thanksgiving 2009

Danny loved Hannah, she was so sweet to him.

Marianne feeding her triplets.

Solveigh!

Our little family.

I did a bad job taking pictures. We saw all but one of Joe's siblings and their families for Thanksgiving in Utah this year. It was a lot of fun.

Sea World 2009

We left the house early on our way to Sea World San Antonio.

Natalie feeding the dolphins

Wil Showing the dolphins his teeth.

This was the first time we have gone to Sea World without a stroller. The kids did great and walked the whole park. By about 3pm they started to wear out, but a little sugar and Diet Coke helped. I was not able to get the scan to attach, but we bought a funny roller coaster picture of Danny and Wil. They road a children's roller coaster together about 7 times. They loved it!

Halloween 2009

We had a great Halloween. A few nights ago we went to a trunk or treat party at our church and tonight we took the kids trick or treating. The weather was perfect and the moon was out. The kids had fun with glow sticks that Joe bought for them. They took turns ringing the doorbells. Danny always said "Happy Halloween" to the givers of the candy, it was so cute. He wore this dragon costume last year and wanted it again, we added face paint this time. Natalie was a black cat, and Wilford was Robin hood. I was proud of Wil's costume, yes, I made it. I can be handy. At one house a man scared the kids so bad that we just forgot about the candy and ran. He came out in a swamp monster costume growling and coming at Wilford. Wil was truly terrified. I thought it was a little too much for little kids, but then at the next house Wil did his best to scare the person who opened the door. I guess he got over it and wanted to get in on some Halloween fun too. The kids also loved handing out candy to other kids after we got home.

Pumpkin Patch!

This is what we have been up to...

I got "The Boot". Six weeks with that thing!

We took the kids to a train museum,

Joe went to Japan for three weeks,
the kids all got really sick while I was away on a trip. Joe did a great job handling it on his own. they are finally getting over it.
